My "Romanceur" is finally assembled, so I went to check it out.

I tried using XTR's M900 and Shimano 600, and wire-pulled hydraulic calipers for the brakes. We aimed for a neo-classical feel by mixing new and old parts.

Although the performance is inferior to current models, I like the unique analog feel, which is refreshing.

I tried camping with luggage loaded into the front basket and saddlebags, and there was plenty of carrying capacity. Perfect for an overnight camping ride. The long flap model of “Carradice NELSON” is voluminous and can hold a lot of luggage. As expected, it is 18 liters.

The rear carrier "NITTO R-10" is a good match for the "Romanceur" and is easy to install. The position of the bracket is just right. I'm also happy that the carrier area is so large. The tent's inner mat also fits in perfectly.

I decided to go for the fairly thick 27.5 x 2.22 tires. The rim width is about 45mm, making it even thicker. This size allows for about 5mm of clearance on both sides.

Apparently the fender is going to be difficult.

Maybe it will fit if you use a flat wide fender like the "Sim Works HONJO Flat 65"... I hope it works... (Probably not)

For now, I've put together a non-defective wheel set, The “Romanceur” fork can have a built-in dynamo wiring, so I would like to convert it into a dynamo at some point.

The ride is very smooth and perfect for long, leisurely rides. The frame is easy to ride and has no quirks. Also recommended for those entering adventure bikes. I also like that it's easy to assemble because it doesn't use any special specifications.

This is a frame that you will never get tired of and can ride for your entire life.
