[BIKECHECK] Keita's Raleigh USA

Hello, this is Crumbworks. Since March began, it has suddenly started to feel like spring and it feels great.

It's perfect weather for cycling. The season has arrived.

And along with that comes that troublesome thing.

Yes, it's pollen.

I am currently updating my blog while battling the onslaught of pollen. This year is going to be tough...

Anyway, the weather was nice so I took some more photos of my bike.

A mix of old and new. The gear area is made neat using current parts.

The key feature is of course the Clydesdale Fork from CRUST BIKES.

This is an innovative item that allows you to use old MTB frames, which are no longer in use, as cargo bikes.

Of course, if the column size is right, it can also be installed on a cross bike or fixed gear bike. *Please note that lightweight and low-strength carbon frames and NJS frames may be damaged due to the strength of the fork.

The column sizes available are OS and 1″, but for now only the OS size is scheduled to be in stock.

My impression after using it is that the front wheel is small, so the steering is quick. It feels like a mini velo. But the rear wheel is 26", so it moves faster than a mini velo.

Even when carrying heavy luggage, the steering is stable and does not wobble easily. The fork is cleverly offset and the carrier position is close to the column axis, so there is no discomfort when steering. It's difficult to achieve this level of stability with a normal aftermarket front carrier.

This is truly why it is called a cargo fork.

In particular, this bike has rear suspension, so the ride is similar to that of the BD-1 and KHS. It's just the right amount of fluffy and comfortable. A commuter bike suitable for riding around town or shopping.

“Clydesdale Fork” enriches our daily lives. This is a bicycle that will make every day fun.
