The first product we developed as part of the “All Terrain Bike Meeting.”
We named it “Puzzle Bar” because getting the stem through the bar feels a bit like solving a puzzle.
A collaborative project developed by CRUMB CYCLES, ALT CYCLES, and IDE STORE.
Inspired by handlebars from the OLD BMX and cruiser era that were designed to fit through a quill stem, we’ve adapted the concept to modern standards and proportions, while keeping it easy and practical to use.
With just the right amount of rise and backsweep, it works well for both everyday city riding and playing around on the trails.
At first glance, it looks like a simple clunker bar, but the shape is completely original and unlike anything else out there.
We’ve turned something that felt like it should have existed into reality.
Compatibility will depend on the stem, but being able to run a clunker-style bar with a threaded stem is pretty exciting. It pairs especially well with OLD MTB builds.
It’s definitely a niche product, but we’re sure there are people out there who have been looking for something just like this.
We’d be happy if it finds its way to the people who really get it.
