MP-Connect "Shoulder Pad BBS"
The shoulder pad, making its debut as a collaboration product for the "Manhattan Portage" brand, has been realized through a partnership with "BARBER SAKOTA," a renowned barber shop in Shimotakaido, Tokyo.
"BARBER SAKOTA" is a famous establishment deeply rooted in street culture, including fixed-gear bikes, skateboarding, and DJing, attracting many fans. Owner Mr. Sakota himself is a passionate enthusiast of messenger bags and bicycles. In this project, functionality and design were pursued with actual riding scenes and everyday use in mind.
The shoulder pad achieves a comfortable fit by meticulously adjusting its shape, thickness, and length. Additionally, it features a plastic buckle, making it versatile for various situations, such as attaching a cap while riding or hanging shoppers and small items when out and about.
This special collaboration model is packed with unique ideas from "BARBER SAKOTA," seamlessly connecting riding scenes with daily life.
