Rune Bicycles "Rufus Stone" Frame Set
RUNE Bikes Rufus Stone
Rune Bicycles is an up-and-coming bicycle brand launched in 2023 by veteran British BMX rider Charles.
This Rufus Stone frame is their first, but it's a dirt randonneur that's so well-made you'd never guess it was their first.
The "Rufus Stone" is ideal for on-road/off-road touring and daily commuter riding, as proposed by RUNE Bicycles.
The wheels and brakes are the latest standard, while the handlebars, stem, and cranks are of the same old standard, so you can assemble them with your own parts or vintage parts. This versatile neo-randonneur bike is great for both riding and customizing.
By the way, "Rufus Stone" is a memorial to William II in the New Forest National Park in England. 900 years ago, while William II was hunting deer in the New Forest, he was shot with an arrow by his servant. The memorial, which marks the spot where he died, has been chipped away by various visitors and is now protected by an iron frame.
If you search for images of New Forest National Park, you'll see that it's a fairly vast park with plenty of natural beauty, making it a great environment for running around on "Rufus Stone."
