The other day, we finally received the Clydesdale cargo fork from Crust Bikes.
This uniquely shaped cargo fork is named after the Scottish draught horse (a horse used to pull heavy loads). It is strong enough to carry loads of several tens of kilograms, and the 20-inch wheels give it a low centre of gravity and great stability. This cargo fork boasts the loading capacity and stability of a heavy draft horse.
Many cyclists in Europe and the United States have already installed Clydesdale cargo forks and are captivated by their convenience and unique shape. I would like to introduce some of them here.

Initial production runs were only compatible with disc brakes, but the current model is compatible with both V-brakes and disc brakes.

As it is compatible with OS diameter columns, it cannot be used with current aluminum or carbon road bikes or MTBs, but it is particularly compatible with MTBs from the late 1990s to early 2000s, and can also give a new lease on life to bikes purchased during the MTB boom of the past.

Some people overseas paint Clydesdale cargo forks to match the frame. Compared to the standard black color, it changes the image considerably and highlights the uniqueness of the bike.

Many people also attach a basket to the top of their Clydesdale cargo forks. From everyday shopping to camping rides, you can carry more luggage than usual, so you might end up buying too much. When camping, you can be a hero by carrying firewood and heavy loads.

On a single speed bike, the Clydesdale cargo fork stands out, but when you match the colors of the frame and other parts it comes together in this look. It's nice that the silver of the braking surface of the rear wheel matches the reflector (white part) of the front tire.

If you look on the internet or social media, you'll see that the vast majority of people are using Clydesdale cargo forks on MTBs that are 10 to 20 years old. This is partly due to the affinity of looks and specifications, but reviving an old bike for a different purpose also makes you realize the utility of bicycles once again.
By adding this Clydesdale Cargo Fork to your bike, it will no longer be limited to the commuter bike category, but will become a bike that is deeply involved in your daily life.
