A new model has been released by SURLY, a classic chromoly frame manufacturer.
"Midnight Special"
This bike adopts the "ROAD PLUS" standard, which has become a hot topic in the motorcycle scene in recent years.
"ROAD PLUS" is a new standard developed by gravel tire manufacturer "WTB".
This new standard reduces the tire size from the conventional "700c" to "650B x 47c", making for a more comfortable ride without sacrificing off-road performance. It is specialized in vibration absorption because it can secure more air volume than 700c. It makes it possible to ride in places where it was previously difficult to ride on roads.
Considering the braking performance and lack of trouble, I think it's very practical and good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about getting a road bike for everyday use.
This standard is ideal for long rides, gravel and commuter riding.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that "ROAD PLUS" will be a trend in 2018.

There are dowel holes in various places on the frame, making it easy to attach fenders and carriers. The fork is designed so that the dynamo wiring can be built inside, eliminating the need for complicated wiring.
An all-rounder frame that can do everything with just one unit. It's a bike you can ride for the rest of your life.
