We received an order for " Romanceur " and a request to assemble it.

What is your budget and a classic feel? The rest is up to you.

This is the order we leave to you. It was assembled in Clamworks' specialty style of combining old and new.

The components are of course old.

The derailleur I chose was "Shimano AL-11". This part was released in 1984 and is older than me. These are touring components from the early days of MTB. Although it is inferior to the M700 Shika Deore, it is a rare part that is not widely available.

It is no exaggeration to say that the crank determines the atmosphere of the bike. I chose the hollowed-out "Sugino MAXY". Of course, it was originally a double specification for road use, but we decided to change it to a front single. Instead of using the narrow-wide, I left the chainring as it was and used the front derailleur as a chain keeper.

The stem is made by NITTO and was used on utility vehicles. The offset is small and the handlebar position is high. I tried an " Analog Cycle " style setup, which is pretty comfortable.

The saddle can be "Brooks", but I'd rather have something that no one else has. The leather saddle from Tsunoda Bicycles gives it a very cool look. The seat post is beautifully engraved and engraved with “SAKAE ROYAL” for a very stylish look.

I used old parts overall and put together a modern setup.

A very nice atmosphere.

The owner is the landlord of this stylish apartment. "I want a bike that matches the atmosphere of this apartment." So the customer chose "Romanceur". I think it's a nice choice.
